Loving Florence Broadhurst

Florence Broadhurst is one of my favorite textile designers. Her aesthetic is one which cannot be replicated as it is so true to her rebellious and feminine spirit. She tends to mix metallics with bright pinks, black and white japanese florals with neon yellow, and bold colorful stripes with beige. Her textiles both in color and proportion, reflect the spirit of a sophisticated young with that go- getter attitude we all envy and admire. Kate Spade has brought her back to life sporadically though out their past seasons and continue to pleasantly surprise us every time they showcase her talent into their looks.

This blog is being created in order to help organize my thoughts, inspirations and creative vision. Post by post I hope to bring all the joy and excitement I have for fashion and textiles into your world. I can't wait to get everyones feedback and to see where this new journey takes me.

To start things off right, a tribute to some of my all time favorite Photographers, Supermodels, and Designers. After all, in a world where fashion not only conquers the endless pages of our favorite magazines, but rather sparks passion in a place much deeper and more permanent, it seems unimaginable to not give credit to those who first inspired you.
